D. Mike Johnston, B.S., Chief Draftsman
 Summary of Experience
Mr. Johnston was born in Freeport, Texas and was raised in Lake Jackson, Texas. He received an Associate Arts degree from Brazosport College in 1989, and went on to Tarleton State University, where he received a B.S. degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Industrial Technology, with a minor in Secondary Education in May, 1991. He was named Outstanding Graduate-I.T. Department for the Spring '91 semester from the College of Agriculture & Technology. He was previously voted Outstanding Senior for 1989-90 from the Department of Industrial Technology and Outstanding Major in 1991. Mr. Johnston was listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges & Universities, 1991.
Mr. Johnston joined Team Environmental Services, Inc. in 1991 in Houston, Texas as the Technical Illustrator where he served as head of the drafting group. He provided support for air dispersion modeling projects, CAD diagrams for environmental permitting, and handled mapping duties for projects involving the oil and gas production and refining industry, the wood products industry, and the chemical plant production and storage industry.
In 1996, Mr. Johnston formed MJ Drafting Services in Houston, Texas where he now supports a wide range of clientele involving environmental consulting groups, mining consultants, the oil and gas industry, the wood products industry, architectural support drafting in home design, waste-water plant design and redesign. He provides CAD consulting, printing and plotting solutions for small businesses, on-site CAD tutorials, and has created as-built drawings and P&IDs for off-shore drilling platforms.
He presently plays a significant role as Chief Draftsman for M. D. Campbell and Associates, L.P. in a variety of support functions, including property evaluations, technical illustrations, reserve calculations, and associated activities.
