Consult an expert in case of a large spillage! Collect leaking liquid in covered containers. Treat remaining liquid with a mixture of ammonia (4-8%), detergent (2%), and water. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place. If solid collect the substance into containers (extra personal protection: complete protective clothing including self-contained breathing apparatus). Recommended storage temperature 20-25°C. Depending on the degree of exposure, periodic medical examination is indicated. Immediate administration of an appropriate spray, by a doctor or a person authorized by him/her, should be considered. The symptoms of asthma often do not become manifest until a few hours have passed and they are aggravated by physical effort. Rest and medical observation are therefore essential. Anyone who has shown symptoms of asthma due to this substance should avoid all further contact with this substance. The odour warning when the exposure limit value is exceeded is insufficient.
