  • INHALATION
    		• Burning sensation. Cough. Sore throat (see Ingestion).
    		Local exhaust or breathing protection.
    		Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
    		• (see Ingestion).
    		Protective gloves.
    		Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
  • EYES
    		• Redness. Pain.
    		Safety goggles or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION
    		• Blue lips or fingernails. Blue skin. Dizziness. Headache. Laboured breathing.
    		Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
    		Rinse mouth. Refer for medical attention.
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Sweep spilled substance into containers. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place. Do NOT let this chemical enter the environment (extra personal protection: self-contained breathing apparatus).
    		Separated from strong oxidants, strong bases. Cool. Dry.

    CHEMICAL DANGERS:
     The substance decomposes on heating or on burning producing toxic fumes (nitrogen oxides). Reacts with strong oxidants.

     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation, through the skin and by ingestion.

    INHALATION RISK:
     Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly by dispersing.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     The substance irritates the eyes and the respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the blood: methemoglobinemia , resulting in cyanosis, brain and kidney failure. See Notes.

         		This substance may be hazardous to the environment; special attention should be given to fish and aquatic life. In the food chain important to humans, bioaccumulation takes place, specifically in . It is strongly advised not to let the chemical enter into the environment.
    NOTES
    Density = 1.15. Depending on the degree of exposure, periodic medical examination is indicated. Specific treatment is necessary in case of poisoning with this substance; the appropriate means with instructions must be available. Data are insufficiently available on the effect of this substance on human health, therefore utmost care must be taken.
